Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lyra browser extension, the website at lyrasearch.com, the public REST API at /api/v1/* and the Model Context Protocol server at /mcp ("Lyra"). By installing the extension, creating an account, or calling our API/MCP endpoints, you agree to these Terms.

2. What Lyra does

Lyra is a slow-buy filter: it hides fast-fashion, dropshipping and predatory marketplace results from search engines and from direct navigation, and exposes the same curated lists as a public REST API and an MCP server for AI assistants. Lyra does not sell, recommend or process any merchandise; it only filters and surfaces information.

3. User accounts

Account creation requires an email and either a password or an OAuth identity (Google, Apple, Facebook). You are responsible for keeping your credentials private and for all activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time at /billing.

4. Pricing and payments

Lyra is paid software. Annual: USD 5.00 / year (or BRL 25.00 / year via Mercado Pago). Lifetime: USD 25.00 one-time (or BRL 125.00). Payments are processed by Mercado Pago (Brazil) and Paddle (international, acting as Merchant of Record). You are charged the price displayed at checkout in the currency you choose. By subscribing to the annual plan you authorize the payment processor to charge your saved payment method automatically at each renewal until you cancel. We will notify you by email of any price change with at least 30 days notice before it applies to your subscription.

6. Acceptable use

You may not: (a) attempt to bypass the daily quota of 100 API/MCP requests per user; (b) resell, sublicense, or republish the curated lists without written permission; (c) submit domains that misrepresent legitimate sellers; (d) use Lyra to harm a third party. Violation may lead to license revocation. Refund eligibility is governed solely by the Refund Policy (14 days from purchase, worldwide).

7. Intellectual property

The Lyra brand, the curated lists in their compiled form, the website, the extension code, and the documentation are the property of Icivitas Ltda. Public read-only endpoints may be consumed for personal, non-commercial purposes. Commercial redistribution requires written authorization.

8. Disclaimer and liability

Lyra is provided "as is". The curated lists reflect the curators' judgment and may be incomplete or contain errors. Icivitas Ltda is not liable for purchases the user makes (or does not make) based on what Lyra filters or recommends. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for Lyra in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Cancellation and termination

You can cancel your subscription any time at /billing or from your Mercado Pago / Paddle account panel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until that date and there are no further charges. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated; in that case, refund eligibility remains governed by the Refund Policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the website and via the email associated with the account at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent court of the city where Icivitas Ltda is headquartered, except when the Brazilian Consumer Code (Law 8.078/1990) requires the consumer's home jurisdiction.
